I come across so many amazing wedding ideas and details that I decided I want to start sharing them. My favorite place for inspiration other than the great brides we photograph have been pinterest because all the pretty things are in one convenient place.
Today’s First Official Wedding Things Post will be about Hair and Headware.
There are so many great ideas to do for hair on your wedding day. I’m sure your like me that when you think wedding hair you don’t think Up-Do. Because the Up-Do reminds us of prom in the 80′s and 90′s. And lets face it those were both bad decades for hair. So many amazing wedding hair styles have been created that now we really have no reason to look any less than fabulous!
Here are a few styles that I loved.
I love the Braid phenomenon going on right now. I really love how bohemian a braid can look. They are so feminine and pretty and simple.
There are so many amazing hairstyles that I had to stop at 3 otherwise this would be a never-ending post.
After we have our hair figured out there is always the question to wear a headpiece or not. Veil, Birdcage, Fascinator the options are endless.
We Love them all. AS long as it’s done right and goes with your whole style. Personally Bird cage veils are the absolute best. I have never seen a bride look terrible in one and they photograph so amazing. And although a birdcage “veil” can be a time era piece it has been updated to go with so many different style wedding dresses. WE LOVE THEM!
Here are a few headpieces I liked.
Wether you are choosing to have your hair up or down, to the side or to the back make sure you have a dry run of the style first. And if you decide on a fascinator, veil, or birdcage for your headpiece be sure to bring it to your hairstylist so when you are having the trial done you can see how it all looks together. And don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone a little. You will look amazing on your wedding day.
